I would like to consider renting out a couple of rooms in my house for the Olympics - maybe do breakfast or occasional barbecues as well.

Anyone else thinking along those lines and how does one go about it?

I want to take part in the Olympics in London.

I'm fit and a good all-rounder when it comes to sports. However which sport would be the easiest to take part in considering I'm not an expert in any at the minute.

How do I go about entering into the games?

Hi Emily

I currently live in the area. When my family came to visit they stayed in Blackheath Bed and Breakfast
http://sitebuilder.yell.com/sb/show.do?id=SB0001676870000010 and thought it was excellent value for money.

Hope this helps.

I'm can't wait for the Olympics! Although I'm not a million miles away from London I'd really like to be as close to Olympic Village as possible.

Can anyone recommend a B&B or hotel that is reasonably priced and has a good location?

Hi

I'm not a cycling pro but love peddling on my bike for leisure.

Does anyone know a cycling club in Berkshire (ideally near Reading) that doesn't take itself too seriously? Also looking for one with a good social life.

Thanks!

Hi

I recently bought a property in Woolwich Arsenal (very near to Greenwich - 20min bus journey) and intend to rent it out during the Olympic Games.

Is anyone else thinking along those lines? Know it's a little premature but I'd like to start thinking about how I should go about promoting my property now.

Any ideas/insight? Never been a landlord before.

Just stumbled across the London Olympic business pages at http://olympic.gb.com - great idea to give businesses the opportunity to gain something from the Olympic games. I must say, the way things are going at the moment, only the big boys are making monies out of the games. May be things will change - only time will tell.

Good luck guys with the business.

Well, I am going to be staying in London, I won't miss the greatest months in London. London is going to be buzzing. In fact, if more people leave London, the better it would be for those staying.

This is one question most would like to ask, but never do.

For those of you that want to know, here is the answer below.

British Isles = England + Wales + Scotland + Northern Ireland + Ireland
United Kingdom (UK) = England + Wales + Scotland + Northern Ireland
Great Britain (GB) = England + Wales + Scotland

I hope this helps.

Umm can't wait for the Olympic games to come to London. I have booked my ticket to some far away land. I can't see how London will cope with the extra million people, the underground is bad enough now and its worst during the summer.
